Tuesday’s Tip

Today’s Tip is short & sweet.

“Try to put well in practice what you already know; and in so doing, you will in good time, discover the hidden things which you now inquire about. Practice what you know, and it will help to make clear what now you do not know.” Rembrandt

I’ve always loved the dramatic lighting shown in Rembrandt’s paintings. I’ve often found myself studying his techniques. As an artist one of the best forms of studying is to simply practice. I thought that this quote was amazing advice and wanted to share it for today’s tip. I hope this helps and happy painting!
