Don’t Limit Yourself
Just wanted to take a moment to offer a bit of inspiration to all of those artist out there who may feel like they aren’t qualified or educated enough to pursue their dream of becoming the next Warhol or maybe just sell enough art to provide a living.
If you think that your work isn’t good enough Google Jackson Pollock. If you think you need a MFA, keep in mind that Jean-Michel Basquiat was a self taught artist you achieved great success. Picasso studied under his father for one year, then attended the Academy of Arts for one year. Van Gogh had to leave school at the age of 15 and years later in the fall of 1880, He decided to move to Brussels and become
an artist. Though he had no formal art training, his younger brother Theo, who worked as an art dealer, offered to support Van Gogh financially.
I said all of that to say, no matter your age, whether you have a MFA, BA, AA, HS Diploma, or a GED, if you have a natural talent or interest in art, simply study techniques, never stop educating yourself, and do it!
Be Inspired! Be Creative!
